      Anita

Hello, I am the owner and artist at Papillon.

I have taken classes with a well-known MUA, Celebrity Danielle Devonn, The Many Face Goddess, in Phoenix, AZ, to enhance my skills and perfect my transformations.

I specialize in makeup for trans and gender-diverse clients and cross-dressers, where technical skill meets personal storytelling.

I approach every face with a fresh perspective, focusing on bone structure, proportion, and color theory to create beautiful, affirming looks. From beard coverage to contouring, I perfect techniques that enhance your natural features. Whether you desire a soft, natural look or a full-glam style, I provide a high-end, professional experience that ensures you look and feel your best and equips you with the confidence to take on the world.

I have spent years working in retail in Detroit, Michigan. What I enjoy now is personal shopping for my boutique. What I enjoy most is hand-picking every item for my clients with care.

My approach is not just about selling but also about listening to your needs, understanding your body type and preferences, and helping you build confidence through style.

I pride myself on my ability to read a customer’s style quickly and suggest pieces they wouldn’t have picked for themselves—but end up loving. I have learned that the best customers come from genuine connections.

I specialized in curating personalized wardrobes for clients.

Dedicated to creating a memorable customer experience.

The Big Question: How did you get into this?

As small girls, my two sisters and I loved playing with our many dolls, naming them, dressing them, and combing their hair, keeping them in pristine condition in the boxes they came in. We maintained our dolls in immaculate condition!

My first life-size was, and I had my first cross-dressing experience with my 20-year-old boyfriend, Scott Miller, from London. I was 17 years old, and he used to like wearing my clothes a lot back then—t-shirts and shorts. I thought nothing of it; I had lovely clothing, and we were young and innocent then. I thought nothing of it.

All I could think of was how beautiful and amazing Scott's legs looked in my clothes.

Scott knew that, too!

And from there, I fell in love with dressing dolls.
